Proven leak proof welding for electrical appliance – water heater
White goods, electrical appliance need clean aesthetic welds. This was a requirement from water heater manufacturer. There was welding to be done on outlet and inlet pipes. Requirement was very simple clean weld joints, leak proof and it should take load of water inside.
Conventional process was MIG and TIG welding which required very skilled manpower.Component was slightly bigger in size, Artech’s application team developed a specialized fixture for mounting of component coupled 40 KVA projection welding machine. Process was proven in front of client for leak proof weld joints.
